As part of a UK Wide team and running my own business, I meet local business owners in Hertfordshire. I get to know what a company does and explain what business support, protection and money saving schemes are available through the Federation of Small Businesses. I take time to identify how the FSB can provide you with small business assistance, and will where necessary signpost owners to other suitable organisations so they can get the small business advice they may need.

The FSB is a non-profit making organisation and membership is extremely cost effective. Here are just a few reasons businesses join:

I first came across the organisation Federation of Small Businesses when I joined TaxAssist and I was recommended to find out more. 

Although I have to admit I have always been rather sceptical of these type of groups I decided to investigate further. So in 2003 I met Maree Atkinson the local FSB Business Consultant and she took me through the services that the FSB provides its members. It was explained to me that businesses can be any shape, size and experience.  My scepticism evaporated once I was shown the range of services included in the annual fee.
